WHERE YO STAT IN SEDONA

Planning to stay a couple of nights in Sedona. Enchantment is more than I want to spend. I have been looking at Abode Village & Graham Inn, the Apple Orchard Inn, the Orchards at L'Auberge, the Sky Ranch Lodge and both Best Westerns. Any information or recommendations on any of these places?

I stayed at the Kokopelli Inn last year. It's not spectacular, but prices are reasonable. Views from some of the rooms are great. It had a nice pool that you could relax in. When I was there it wasn't built up around it so you could see the rocks from the pool. I don't know if that has changed. The had a free continental breakfast when I was there too.

couple of years ago, stayed at Orchards at L'Auberge, after reading about it in Bon Appetite. It was all that it was written up to be. We had a Thanksgiving dinner with family. The gourmet food was outstanding, and the accomodations were just fine. The Orchards part resembles an upscale hotel, built into the side of a cliff. Each room is large with a fireplace and a sliding door opening to a small deck. Sunrises are just beautiful, as you are up high looking out over the red dirt country. I should also mention, that not too long ago, there was a poster here who was very disappointed with L'Auberge, but I think she stayed down below in the creekside bungalows. At any rate, I can recommend it most highly, and except for that one detractor, have never heard anything bad about it. We would definately stay there again.

Best Western Inn of Sedona was great for us. Do a search of this site. This question has been answered many times.

We also stayed at Best Western Inn of Sedona and found it to be very nice. This was last April. The hotel is built on a hillside so there are different terraced levels with great views. It was set back from the busy main road so was quiet but also within walking distance to a very nice restaurant. Sedona was beautiful!!

Loved Sky Ranch Lodge. Had a King Cottage (kitchenette, dining area, living area, bed area) with a deck and porch swing overlooking the red rocks. The quiet motel is on a mesa, near a scenic overlook. Saw a variety of birds up there.

Was in Sedona in October and stayed at Sky Ranch. Rooms not fancy, but clean and nice. With so much to do we didn't spend our time in the room anyway. Great views of the red rocks and sunset. Few minutes drive to shops and resturants.
