When we went, we just stayed at the Doubletree.
This hotel hadn't opened yet, but if we went back I'd stay here:

There are tons of soulless hotels along the interstate from Fayetteville to Bentonville but if you're interested in something more interesting, I would go to a B and B in Eurkea Springs about 40 miles east. Our favorite is Arsenic and Old Lace.
We have also stayed at The Inn at the Mill in Springdale, about 18 miles south of Bentonville. The restaurant, James at the Mill, is worth a visit.

My notes Arkansas trip:
Bentonville, overnight 21c Museum Hotel. Walking distance to amazing Crystal Bridges with easy access to trails on Crystal Bridges property. Unique modern design hotel with art work displays. The setting made a memorable and unique experience.
Drinks at hotel bar, The Hive, and dinner at Crystal Bridges restaurant (again setting is inspirational).
Museum of Native American History. Extensive displays, artifacts and comprehensive audio guide.

Depending on the day/time of your visit, as noted above, the museum has a lovely restaurant, Eleven (11). You might want to consider making a reservation--we didn't for one visit and almost got shut out. Fortunately, we got put on the waiting list and got called so it worked out.
Also, if you want to tour the interior of the Frank Lloyd Wright house, go online before your visit to reserve a tour time--the tours are free, but due to the size of the house, they are limited in size and number.
I would stay at the 21c Hotel if possible, but also very close by is The Simmons Suites which is apparently a Comfort Inn, although it wasn't obvious from the exterior, at least not last October.
