Where to stay in Stowe VT - I need your accommodation advice
Stowe VT Accommodation advice required.
We are a couple who will be staying in stowe VT for a weekend in late January (Visiting the Stowe Winter carnival)we would appreciate advice/views on the following....
1. Stowe Motel and Snowdrift, 2043 Mountain road, Stowe
2. Grey Fox Inn & Resort, 990 Mountain road, Stowe
3. Sun & Ski Motor Inn, 1613 Mountain road Stowe
4. Town and Country Resort, Stowe
5. Golden Eagle Resort, Mountain road, Stowe.

If I was to pick from the list you've given I would say the Golden Eagle. It's closer to the Village (you could walk), and they seem to have a lot of activities going on there, plus they have an indoor pool, jacuzzi, etc. Grey Fox does have a nice "Dutch Pancake House". They are all conveniently located on the Mtn. Road, between the village & the ski area (it's a 7 mile long stretch). Of all the selections, the Stowe Motel & Snowdrift are the closest to the Mtn., but still more than 4 miles from it.
