Where to stay in Santa Fe??

We're going to Santa Fe second week of November. Thinking about the Water Street Inn or the Inn of the Turquoise Bear. We like nice accommodations, but would like to stay under $150/nite. What's the weather like in mid-November? Thanks!

We've stayed at the Water Street Inn several times. Good location (be sure and visit Vanessi's Piano Bar and hear Doug Montgomery) and great snacks on the rooftop terrace in the late afternoon. The 3 rooms we've had have been tops. Nice hot tub and the evenings will be chilly but the days should be very pleasant. Have fun!!

We are visiting Santa Fe the 3rd week in Nov for our wedding anniversary. After much research we decided to stay at Alexanders Inn B&B. The Water street Inn was our 2nd choice. I really think either one will be very nice. Glad to hear that the weather should be pleasant. Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the info. One more question. Should we plan to spend a nite in Taos in order to really "see" the town - or is a day trip feasible. How long a drive is it from Santa Fe?? Also, where to stay in Taos?
