My wife and I and our 2-1/2 year old daughter
are looking for a nice place to stay in Late August. It needs to have an outdoor pool. Any suggestions??

I recently stayed at Best Western Eden Resort. I was impressed. We got a great deal that included breakfast at the hotel each morning and dinner at a choice of 4 different restaurants. I booked it directly with the hotel.

Are you talking about Lancaster, California? I was just there and it's so hot and dry! Are you sure you want to be there in August?? It's not a place I'd want to be during any month of the year.

Here we go again. I live in California so when I hear Lancaster...I automatically think of California. If the poster means PA, it's got to be a nicer place than Lancaster, CA! Guess it depends on which side of the Mississippi/Rockies etc. you're on as to which pops into mind! Susan

Ok since hhh didn't come back to clarify I used the subject search using the state to filter the questions and this one came up under Pennsylvania. It'd be easier if poster would specify because, like Susan, I also live in CA and thought of Lancaster out in the desert.

Isn't this an Air Force Base?? Heard of it but never been there. Seems like there would be better places to visit with your daughter.

Edwards airforce base i located near Lancaster, CA. Edwards Air Force Base is, as a T-shirt says, 30 miles from water and 2 feet from Hell.

Sam, not to show disrespect but I've lived in York for 30 years and I think I'd know if there were space shuttles landing. I think you'd better take your wife to a doctor immediately!!
