Where to stay in Hana?

Where to stay in Hana?
I am finalizing our plans for our 10 night Hawaii vacation and am thinking we will spend 2 nights in Hana after 3 on Oahu and 5 in Wailea. I'd love to hear first hand experiences from people who have stayed overnight there!

Stayed in Hana at "Hale Hana Bay" property...see at www.hanaalii.com
Cabin on waterfront, just a couple blocks from town. Older cabin, but comfortable.
There are two general stores there..but not bad idea to go to grocery in Kahalui.
Suggestion....if you travel the road to Hana in the p.m., and the road back in the a.m. you will be going in the opposite direction of the rush of traffic. Most tourist do Hana in a day...morning out...afternoon return.
