Where to go for Brunch in NO?

My husband and I want to go for lunch on a Sunday in NO but I think only brunch is served on a Sunday. We dislike any kind of buffets. We are also going to Commander's Palace for dinner, so that is out for brunch Where is there else to go that is very upscale? How is Delmonico's or the Bistro at Maison De Ville? Any othe rsuggestions? Thanks!

My favorite brunch is at Commander's Palace, but if that's not an option, you might consider Mr. B's, which is another Brennan property, or the wonderful old standby, Galatoire's. I wouldn't recommend any of Emeril's restaurants.

We are frequent visitors to N.O. La. I highly recommend The Bistro at the Maison DeVille. It is one of my all time favorites. Request the courtyard if weather is permitting. Mr. B's is good but the music can be annoying. Never been to Delmonico because it is very expensive and I am not a fan of Emeril.

It's been awhile since I've been to NO, so I don't know how reliable this info is, but I remember having a great brunch at a place that sounded something like the court of the 3 sisters. Anyone know if it's still around?

In my opinion, the Court of Two Sisters peaked about 35 years ago! Yes, I remember when the food was good, but that's been a very long time ago. These days the atmosphere is still wonderful but the food is mediocre. In New Orleans, you can do lots better.

Brennan's! Definitely Brennan's! My husband and I went to NO on our honeymoon, and in a trip that was packed-full of amazing food, our brunch at Brennan's is still one of those things where we'll say - "remember that brunch at that place?". You must have the bananas foster - they invented it.

We really enjoyed brunch at Mr. B's Bistro last May (no buffet!).
