Where to go?

A couple of my friends and I are trying to find a place to go once we get out of school for the summer. We are college students in Connecticut and don't have much money. We love the city and the beach and other scenic places. We've been to New York, Boston, Montreal, Maine, DC, Baltimore, Paris, Normandy, etc. Does any one have any suggestions of where we might be able to go on a limited budget?

Is there any reason why people are ignoring my question but answering everyone else's?

Actually, Suzanne, I did answer your question a couple of hours ago and I see that it's not posted. Perhaps there's a technical glitch. My suggestion, since it seems to have got lost somewhere, was British Columbia, which should give you very good value for your American dollars and is a gorgeous place to visit. There are good websites to look at, or I could make some recommendations if you prefer.

yes, actually
1. The title of your post--where to go--, is a vague. Most people skip these and look for things they know are on target (like "hotel in Vegas" "shows in NY" ) with their knowledge
You could try reposting with a more specific title and see if that works.
2. The question is actually a little vague too. For example, for how long do you expect to travel ( a week, 3 months)and exactly when (rates are very different in most places in May of June compared to July or August) People want to make realistic suggestions for you. How far do you want to travel, by what mode of transportation, how much do you really want to spend ("limited budget" means different things to different people) and in what type of accomodations (camping, motels, weekly rentals). Are you looking for cities or for country? You've listed such varied places you've been to, but not reallly what you're looking for.
Try to start a new post with some of these questions spelled out (and a new title) and I think you'll have better luck!
