Where to eat in Sedona

My husband and I are celebrating our one-year anniversary with a trip to Sedona (Canyon Villa Inn), and we were wondering where we should eat for our anniversary dinner. We will be there next Tue-Thu and would like something special -- fancy's okay, but not necessary.

If you do a search, you'll find plenty of reviews since this topic has been covered many times. I'll just repeat what I've posted previously. I've been to three places in Sedona, all of which were good: Robert's Creekside Cafe (which we liked so much we ate there twice during our four night stay), Dahl & Deluca, & Javelina Cantina. The last would definitely not be a recommendation for an anniversary dinner.

Most places in Sedona are geared toward the more casual. Dahl & Deluca was fairly elegant and might suit your needs. If you don't mind a more casual set up, Robert's Creekside Cafe had great red rock views (if you get a table in the back) as well as great innovative food.

I've heard that the restaurant at the Enchantment is very special, so may want to look into that. Some posters also liked the Heartline Cafe. Happy Anniversary!

The best you'll find are the restaurants at L'Auberge and Enchantment. Each very different from the other.

We really liked Shugrue's Hillside. The food was wonderful, there was quiet, live jazz and beautiful views. Clothing was dressy casual to casual!

Had lunch on the patio of the Enchantment Resort. We were very unimpressed except for the spectacular view (disappointed may be a better word). IMHO, Robert's Creekside would prove for a memorable time, depending on your taste/style.

Happy Trails,
Paul

Paul, no one has ever highly recommended the patio at Enchantment (no one I know, anyway).

It's the dining room that serves the worthwhile food.
The patio is just bar/grill/appetizer food.
Sorry you missed out.

Dear A,
For a special occasion such as this, I would recommend the L'Auberge de Sedona's elegant restaurant. It is all French Country in decor. They serve a 5 course meal, French cusine.
(Do a search on the 'net. There is a photo of the dining room to get an idea.)
Too bad you won't be in town this weekend as the big jazz festival will be on.
Enjoy, and happy anniversary.

Coco
