Belize, Telluride CO, Portland-Seattle-Vancouver, and all the weekends in between will be in NYC (last part is easy since it's a 20 minute drive). It's about time I finally get to travel like I've always wanted to...

Texas, maybe Michigan and Illinois, Vancouver, Portland (OR), Raleigh.

Trying to save most of my vacation days for next year, when Australia and/or New Zealand might be the destination.

Alohaaa all,
A few bicycle weekends in
Napa/Sonoma Valleys (Railway Inn/Bordeaux House, Della Santina's-Bouchon's-Martini House here we come), Anchorage Alaska (Mrs Kal's marathon), 2 days this weekend (still Spring?) in Sacramento for the Jazz Fest, Chicago, Monterey/Santa Cruz, Tahoe/Reno (Best of the West BBQ Fest), the "dreaded" San Francisco and we're trying to finally get back to San Diego after an 8 year absence (hopefully the Statute of Limitation has tolled! ;-)).

As for New Orleans, won't be there until Fall so Cindy's liver will have to wait!
Did you say "drinks ON me" or "drinks IN me"?
Kal

I never travel during the summer, because everyone else does - I hate crowds. Plus, there's so much going on in this half-empty city!

But I'm going to Avalon (Jersey shore) in 4 weeks, and either France or Italy in the early Fall.

You should check out Utah and all of the beautiful mountains and National Parks. The Olympics highlighted some of the beautiful mountain scenes..but did not touch on the geographic wonders to the south. From the National Parks it is a quick trip to Vegas if you are in need of a gambling fix!!

Just curious, How do all of you people afford and have time off to take multiple summer vacations? I'm happy to be spending one week on the Outer Banks and I see that everyone has 2 and 3 trips lined up.

Five days in Key West and South Beach. Yep, hotter than heck, but I don't care.

Not alot of time but no kids, would not be a vacation unless I went far away, Kauai in August. Very small amount of vacation time each year but if I can afford the time I do have in Hawaii or other destinations outside of the U.S. is all worth it.

Good point though curious would like to know what people do to get that extra time.
