Where is One Traveler's Opinion?

I am alive and kicking and, in fact, just returned from a couple of leaf-peeking days in Vermont. Claire, Morey, Cindy, and everyone else who posted: thank you.
Yeah, I did get beat up pretty bad by a bunch of people who appear to have nothing better to do with their time but flame and then hide behind "xxx". It was also no thrill to find my name appended to the title of a post by "Ellen Griswold." If he wanted to take me to task, he could have emailed me directly.
But the reason I have not posted any "One Traveler's Opinion" essays is much more benign: It has been a very busy period at my company, and the time to put together something interesting to say just hasn't been there. I'll try harder. Thanks again!

Hey Neil, Welcome back! OK - I'll bite; I'll email you directly you so can see I'm "real". As I told you before, I was genuinely disappointed that you doubted my "authenticity"; once again, I AM female, a professional sales rep for a Fortune 500 Co. but first and foremost, a Midwest MOM who LIVES and LOVES to travel with her family, cross-country by mini-van!!!
I TREASURE each and every opinion I've read here, including yours, Neal. Our friends "labeled" us with the name "Griswolds" after our first cross-country adventure; they couldn't believe how much we packed into a 3.5 trip, in and out of motels every couple of nights, seeing everything we possibly could see.
Like everyone else, if I thought I wouldn't get spammed, I would gladly share more.
BTW, I am currently planning our 2001 Adventure to New England, the only area of our country that our children have not seen. I am armed with much info gathered here last month; once again, thank you everyone. The only problem....our 16 y/o son continues to say, "Mom, isn't it kinda out of the way to go to New England via Arizona?" -- he wants to go back out west yet again!!
All the best to you, Neal. Happy travels! Talk to you soon!
