Where is best breakfast or brunch in Seattle

We are meeting relatives for brunch/breakfast on a Sunday in Seattle. Any recommendations on best place to go? This will be our only day in Seattle.
Thanks in advance!

For the view and good not great food: Salty's on Alki Beach. Take the ferry over and it adds to the whole experience.

My favorite weekend breakfast/brunch place downtown is Cafe Campagne in the Market.

I agree with Salty's for their fantastic buffet brunch (especially if you can sit outside with the air and the views). But I wouldn't knock the food -- depending on what you eat. That buffet has the most wonderful assortment of fresh seafood imagagineable. I didn't go for a lot of the "cooked dishes", but how can you beat the fresh oysters, shrimp, crab, etc., etc? All of those were as good as they get anywhere.

Some of the most popular places for brunch are Café Campagne (Pike Place Market), Coastal Kitchen (Capital Hill), Hi-Spot (Madrona), Macrina Bakery (Belltown), The Dish (Fremont), and The Georgian (Downtown).

For a reservation, your best bet is Salty's or The Georgian (both expensive). Some of these places (e.g. Coastal Kitchen) require a long wait and others (e.g., Macrina Bakery) don't have many tables.

If I were taking friends to brunch, I would go the Cafe Campagne and if that were too crowded I'd check out nearby Etta's (a Tom Douglas restaurant) or Cutter's Bay House, which has a view.

We took the ferry over and had brunch at Salty's. Awesome! One of the highlights of our trip.

We're not usually buffet fans, but this one was terrific. Even one of those chocolate fountains (intoxicating aromas...)!

We reserved online with OpenTable, and were given requested window table.

Highly recommend.

Thank you for all the great responses! Our relatives need to be somewhere at noon after brunch. I just made reservations at Cafe Campagne and will go to Salty's for a sunset drink and the view, weather permitting.

You made a good choice. Cafe Campangne is a cozy French bistro with an a menu that isn't the same old thing. Enjoy.
