When is Spring Break 2003?

Planning a trip to Cancun to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday next year, which falls on February 18th. I want to AVOID spring break periods, and I know they can vary some depending on the schools.
Can anyone give me the weeks to AVOID? I have a timeshare request in place for all Feb. thru mid-March, have I avoided spring break time in my request?

The break differs between schools. I am sure you are ok in Feb, but mid march is dicey

As mentioned above, spring break varies from school to school, but March, and especially mid-March, are the most popular college spring break weeks, so you may have a real problem.

The only concern for Feb. would be during Presidents' Birthday week when many K-12 schools have their winter breaks. This often means lots of families with kids (which is certainly different than college spring breakers), but in recent years some high school seniors have taken to travelling to Cancun without parents during this time, so it's likely to be another week to stay away from. Best time would probably be Jan. to early Feb. Good luck.

We have a timeshare in Cancun at the Omni. Found best to avoid March all together. "Breakers" start early March and go for at least 3 weeks. Feb has always been good forus.
