The Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey gets our vote. Bad food, bad service and we have stayed there on more than one occasion for business and it's always that bad.

Buckhead is a shopping/nightlife-dense suburb north of Atlanta.

Kalaloch Lodge, Olympic National PArk, Washington. Overpriced, ancient, rip-off etc..should have slept in the car.

The Hilton Resort and Marina in Key West is extremely overrated and overpriced. The Galleon is very nice for the money.

The Westin Maui. Way too crowded for a 12 acre property and screaming kids everywhere. The rooms measure about 2x2 and that restaurant called Tropica is horrible! You can't get a chair by the pool after 7 AM. This place is not packed because they are such a great hotel. They are packed because of the 598.00 for 6 night specials they run. Never again!

Definately, the Motel 6 outside of Fargo, ND. We paid over $35 for the night and was not at all worth it. They did not leave the light on for us.

Waldorf-Astoria, NYC. About the only thing going for it is the lobby.

Best Western Bartlett (?) in Anchorage. $150.00 plus tax for a simplest motel room.

Was also disappointed with Kalaloch ... though I'm fine with rustic beachside accomodations, the price at Kalaloch suggested more polish and less rust. Yup, it was disappointing.
