thanks guys for understanding.
bytheway, I used to weigh 135 (5'2) and I lost a lot very quickly without exercising....so it's that left over flab effect that looks ohsounappealing bare. Anyway, thanks...

Dear Cindy;
I think it has something to do with the mirrors in those dressing rooms. They seem to accentuate the negative!!

When I was a little girl my mom, my sister and me drove from Alabama to NY state one summer. Back in those days, not many cars had AC so my mom preferred driving at night. There weren't many interstates either, so we traveled mainly small highways. One night in Pennsylvania, we started looking for a gas station. The gauge kept going lower and lower with no station anywhere. Finally, it was almost down to empty, we had been driving through woods forever and my mom started to cry. Finally we saw a house, stopped and knocked on the door to see if they knew of any open gas station nearby. None were open, but he knew the man who owned the local station. He called him and the man came and opened up his station and filled our tank! That sure wouldn't happen these days!

007, get a life! As I tell my daughters, there's always someone with more money or less money, smarter or dumber, fatter or skinnier, prettier or uglier, etc.

Worst vacation disaster? We rented a spectacular brand-new house on the beach. If the kids wanted to watch a video, they'd use the 25" TV in my bedroom. A string of little girls stretched out on the floor in front of the TV watching Disney videos. The VCR was on the lower shelf under the TV.

The last full day my VERY PETITE 3 yo daughter was "helping" my husband look for something. She hooked her fingertips on the shelf the TV was on and stood on tiptoe to look on the shelf. The TV was sticking out over the edge. Just that little extra amount of weight caused the TV to tip, topple, and crash to the ground. We went and bought a replacement TV. The hour-long trip back from the store was in one of the worst rainstorms I've ever been in (barring hurricanes of course)! (But we were very lucky! The children had only touched the VCR during the week. If they had touched the TV, it would have landed on them and have been a much worse vacation disaster!)

Jeez Kelly. Maybe you should post your rant to a cancer board? Is your husband alive? How about a cancer survivors board?

bringing this back up. I long for last week when my biggest problem was wearing a bathing suit. This week a real disaster -- looks like my boyfriend can't go because his mother is having surgery. Have you ever wanted something so much, more than anything, and you get so close to the dream you can nearly touch it, you can see it, feel it, but then it just evaporates like a hologram when it's turned off suddenly??
