What to do for Spring Break - Mammoth?

Hi, I'm thinking about a trip to Mammoth Mountain the week before Easter for spring break so my son can snowboard. Will it be too crowded to have fun?

Probably not, but it depends on how much snow is available at the time. You'll probably have to check again when you get closer to the time.

Mammoth will be fabulous!!!! Mostly Mammoth is open for sking well into May & June. absolutely the best skiing in CA that's for sure. I'd say it will be ok during spring break since it's mid April and people are starting to lose interest in skiing then. But it's a big mountain and even when there's lots of people there is plenty of good skiing/riding going on.

Hi,

I'm looking into condo rentals at Mammoth. I'll be checking vrbo.com and whatever other rental sites I can find. Please let me know which complexes are most desirable, I'm not familiar with the area.

I'm also thinking about Lake Tahoe as an alternative. Which do you think would be a better destination with teen snowboarders? I don't ski or snowboard, so I'll find something else to do.

Thanks!

I stay at the snow creek resort every year at the end of April. They always have a deal where you get 3 nights for the price of 2 that time of year.
