What to do.

I will be in Denver 4/29 - 5/3. Where is a good place to really see the mountains. Maybe like a State Park or something.

Rocky Mountain National Park next to Estes Park would be a good choice. It's somewhat close to Denver, lots of wildlife and beautiful mountains.

Check out the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, 1 hour drive. Close to Denver is Mt Evans less than 1 hour. A little further out is Estes Park where you can drive up Trail Ridge Road. In town is the LoDo area for a little nightlife and restaurants.

Thanks for the input. I have heard that Rocky Mountain National Park is nice. Thank you both again for the input.
