What time is it in Hawaii?

We are leaving for Hawaii on March 13 and our daylight savings time starts here on March 11. We are normally 3 hours ahead of Hawaii time but is there a time change in Hawaii or not? My airline tickets seem to say we arrive in Honolulu considering a 3 hr time change but I'm thinking it could possibly be 4 hours. Does anyone know where I could check this out??
Thanks

NO - Hawaii does not observe DST

"For the U.S. and its territories, Daylight Saving Time is NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Arizona. The Navajo Nation participates in the Daylight Saving Time policy, even in Arizona, due to its large size and location in three states."

An easy way to check the time in a city - go to Google - type in "time" then the name of the city and one of the choices (usually the first) will be what you want.

.... or go to www.time.gov to see the time anywhere in the world by clicking on a map. It also shows you the part of the world in darkness at the time you check.

And to complicate things, DST is not ending (starting??) at the normal time this year, and some computerized systems are not aware of the date change.

In general though, we are 2 hours behind California until you "spring ahead" and then it is a three hour difference from West coast time.

It's time to head to Secret Beach

It's time to listen to Surf Jones at Tahiti Nui

It's time for bananamac pancakes at Oly

It's time to hang local at Polihale

It's time to talk story at "the pier" at sunset.

It's time to consider again.

i like that timeticker dot com that shows the timezone coverage as you roll over the world map.

I use the following website for world time:

What do you mean "My airline tickets seem to say we arrive in Honolulu considering a 3 hr time change"

Ticket departure and arrival times are in local time. It is irelevant whether it is DST in the departure city, the arrival city, either one, or both.

I think OP is trying to figure out 2 things -- if Hawaii does DST [NO] and how long the flight takes. MAybe..

If so, where are you flying from? When do you leave local time and when do you arrive local time? Is it a non stop?

Relax, you will be on vacation, as long as you get on the flight and get off at end.. you'll be there.

BUt as often is the case, OP has not been back to thread.

Thanks so much for the responses. My purpose, as DebitNM stated, was that I wondered IF Hawaii used DSL but also, I'm thinking that my flight cards are actually wrong. The times don't jive so I don't think they considered the time change on March 11. We leave vancouver at 6:30 and get to Honolulu at 11 pm but I think I better call my airline to confirm all of this. Thanks again for the responses.
