YOu don't say how long you'll be in Arizona. There are things worth seeing all over the state! Since you mention Frank Lloyd Wright, I assume you'll be in the Phoenix area to visit Talieson West and the Arizona Biltmore. You could easily spend a week just seeing things within a one-hour or two-hour radius. Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, Tucson, etc., etc., etc.

Several great Indian ruins point to the level of sophistication among pre-Columbian civilizations in Arizona and elsewhere in the Southwest. Among some in Arizona: Tuzigoot and Montezuma's Castle, north of Phoenix off Highway I-17 near Clarkdale and Camp Verde respectively. Wupatki east of Flagstaff, too. The auditorium mentioned in the earlier posting is on the campus of Arizona State University in Tempe (next to Phoenix) and is known as the Gammage Auditorium. Taliesin West, FWL's school, is located in north Scottsdale, also in the PHX area. If you are intrigued by the Indians of the Southwest, be sure to see the recently-enlarged Heard Museum in PHX. If you wish to see a new engineering marvel, the Bank One Ballpark (with its retractable roof) is in PHX and home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, now in lst place in the National League West. But, in all honesty, man is but a puny contributor to Arizona's scene -- God did a great job out here. After all, He spends his vacation time in Sedona.
