What is the most common pharmacy in Manhattan?

I wanna buy a brand called Neo Strata. My relatives told me that I can buy it in the pharmacy. But where are those pharmacies?

Here's a link to a directory of pharmacies in Manhattan.

Could you tell us where you are staying? That way people can narrow it down for you.

I agree that Duane Reade is pretty much everywhere. CVS is starting to be more commonly seen, too.

There's a Z pharmacy on 57th St., near 6th Avenue. This sounds like a less common brand. They would probably have it.

I thought it was Duane Reade?

There is one on every single block of New York City. Not just Manhattan but NYC.

Duane Reed in NYC. Reminds me of the ABC Stores we have in Waikiki, turn around and there's another one. I think I still have a bottle of DR saline solution at home.

For an entertaining read, NY Magazine investigates "The Myster of Duane Reade":

LOL! It's a slow day when we resort to talking about Duane Reade.

250 stores? Trip report, anyone??

I googled Neo Strata and Duane Reade comes up as carrying it.

Yes, I do have a story.

I took my family to NYC a couple of years ago in June and we met my parents for the weekend. I can't remember how many but there were quite a few of us at least 20 or so.

Anyway, I dragged my family commando (no, not sans skivvies but commando as in marched by force) all over Manhattan from the crack of dawn until after midnight every day.

One day we did the double decker tour bus and every time we passed a Duane Reade, I'd yell "DUANE READE!!" for some bizzare reason. Punchy I'm guessing.

By the time we'd hit downtown, everyone on the bus is yelling "DUANE READE" everytime someone sees one.

As you can imagine, we looked like a bus full of tourists riding around randomly screaming "DUANE READE" at the tops of our lungs like a bus full of idiots.

GoTravel - If they have double decker bus tour in Boston, you can try the same for Dunkin Donuts.

Same goes for dunkin donuts in Philly too. It seemed to be everywhere when I was there... I have to say though. They were much nicer dunkin donuts than what you see here in the south. They had nice iccee type drinks and everything!
