What happened to Arthur Frommer?

I have not heard or seen anything mentioning Arthur Frommer for a couple of years. I know they use his name on a magazine and books and another internet site but I wonder if he is well and active anymore.

Anyone have any current information on Arthur Frommer? (the dean of travel!)

Thanks for the information but that is about a year old. I have not heard anything from him for at least a year.

The books, magazine and web site are just using his name. I see no activity on his part. Maybe he is ill?

He became an industry with a magazine and trustworthy, opinionated, up-to-date guidebooks for many destinations.1 See www.frommers.com

Please--- does anyone really know what happened to Arthur Frommer? I met him once and he seemed like such a nice man. I see his name on magazines and web pages and see his daughter on TV but have not seen Arthur, or see that he has any involvement anymore with all the organizations that has his name.

Where is Arthur Frommer?

Have you even asked the Frommer's people? Considering that those publications are direct competitors of Fodor's, why are you asking here at all?

I won't go to the bother of Googling more to answer this since I really have no interest in where Mr Frommer is, but if you are as you seem to be so concerned about his whereabouts, why not look elsewhere? As Barbara says, ask Frommers.
