Hello from Minnesota! I live about 20 miles north of Minneapolis, (planning on moving another 20 miles further north next summer into a log home).
Believe it or not, even though I don't much care for cold I wouldn't trade the 4 dramatically different seasons we have for anything! In summer it is warm, air is clean, lakes EVERYWHERE offer lots of cool fun...in fall the gorgaous colors of the changing leaves and the smell of fall in the air is awesome...in winter, there is nothing as beautiful as fresh snow on rooftops, branches and lawns...and in spring, my favorite, everything starts fresh and new again! How could you not love it?
Yup, it is cold here right now, so we have a roaring fire in the hearth and spend a lot of time "cuddling".

I live in Alaska. It's hard to take things for granted here.

I live in L.A., and without question what I most take for granted are the museums. There are six art museums I enjoy scattered about the area, and even though every time I visit is a great experience, I rarely seem to find the time. Just lazy, I guess.
