What are you listening to...

...while you're drinking your poison? Curious to know what groovy tunes you're currently listening to. I am an equal opportunity music lover so it depends on my mood--lately I've been playing (a lot!) Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's, Alone in IZ World and Alison Krauss and Union Station's, Lonely Runs Both Ways

I'm listening to "The Gentle Hum Of My Computer". It's relaxation music.

Hi All. This is Mr. Go, posting on the wife's computer.

I'm big into music. Right now, I'm listening a lot to Now Here Is Nowhere by The Secret Machines, American Idiot by Green Day, I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning by Bright Eyes, and Ancient Melodies of the Future by Built to Spill. And virtually anything by Wilco, especially Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and Being There. And I'm still not sick of that Franz Ferdinand disc.

As for poison (that is, delicious beverages...not the 80s hair-metal band), I'm currently sipping a nice, cold Moretti. Wishing the next 3 months would sail by quickly so we can go to Italy.

At the moment, it's the "PC Hum," but the last thing I had in the CD player was Entertainment Weekly's compilation of hits from 1983, which I found at the library. It has a bunch of groups I listened to at the time - Eurhythmics, the Pretenders, Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science," etc. It's fun and intrigues my kids, too!

With dirty martini in hand, I'm listening to "What's Wrong With This Picture," Van Morrison's first release on Verve.

Kenney Chesney's latest Album "Be as you are". Makes me want to wander down to the Carribean for a while. Unfortunately, I'll have to just listen to Kenney and Jimmy Buffett instead.
