Great hotel with comfy rooms. That's a good rate, too.
I got this hotel on Priceline for about $100. You aren't guaranteed the hotel, of course, if you bid that area so it's a crap shoot. I was pleasantly surprised to get the Westin (expected the Hilton) and really enjoyed my stay!

Thanks, Dan. We tried bidding on priceline. Started at $150 and raised the bid to $165 and the bid still wasn't accepted. Are we bidding too early? First time we ever tried using priceline. Anyone else on the Westin?

I just used Priceline for the first weekend of October and got the Hilton for $120. I bid in May and got the Westin for $92. I've heard mixed reviews on the Hilton but for the price, if my room is small, I don't care. I've never been disappointed at a Hilton. I would try again for Priceline. You can also take a look at biddingfortravel.com to see what people are getting.

Booked this hotel for December 6-9 at $200/night through Priceline... was happy to get it, too, for one of the busiest weekends of the year in NYC (rack rate on the hotel website for that weekend was $529/night). Reading all replies with great interest and would love to see a review when you return, Cerlaurie!

check out www.westin.com/3for2. If you arrive on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday and use mastercard to book and pay, you get 3 nights for the price of 2. Good till 1/4/04.
