Westin New York Times Square: Coffee Shops

Any good coffee shops located near The Westin New York at Times Square within walking distance? Also how far is The Neil Simon Theatre from this hotel?

The hotel is on West 43rd which is the heart of Times Square. All of the theaters are within 5 blocks of your location.

There is a Starbucks on every block in NYC along with a GAP.

Actually, GoTravel, I think it is at least two blocks to the nearest GAP from the Westin, but there is a Starbucks on Eighth, practically next door. The Neil Simon is nine blocks north along Eighth Avenue, turn right on 52nd and you'll see the Hairspray signs right there. It should take you less than 10 minutes to walk there.

I stand corrected.

Would someone please get Mayor Bloomberg on this lapse in Times Square retail immediately?

The Westway Diner - Ninth Ave near 44th Street - a standard coffee shop/diner with pancakes, eggs, French toast, etc.

Also, the Edison Cafe in the Edison Hotel on 47th St between Eightth Ave and Broadway. They have all the breakfast foods you mentioned plus excellent blintzes.

I just remembered a small Italian restaurant right on 8th Avenue just north of 45th on the right hand side called Trattoria Daniela (two blocks from you). They serve full breakfast --very good and very reasonable (well, cheap, actually)!
