Does anyone know of a resort or place on a lake or golfing for a weekend stay in the western part of PA? Thanks.

Hidden Valley Resort
Nemacolin Woodlands

are all golf/ski type resorts all within about a two-hour drive of Pittsburgh - don't know about any lakes - how about Lakeview Inn & Country Club in WV?

There's a resort run by Ceasars(you can find address by accesing there website) in the western part of Pa; very luxurious with features like a champagne glass jacuzzi, etc.

We saw Nemocolin Woodlands when we were in the area last summer. It is outstanding, and really opulent. Looks like an extraordinary golf course, too. I understand, however, you can get some nice weekend packages. There is terrific white water rafting on the Youghogheny River, too.
