If Tioga Pass is closed when you are in Las Vegas, Allegiant Airline has several flights a week from LAS to Fresno (FAT). DW and I did stay for a night in the Americas Best Value in Oakhurst. It was OK but not a very good breakfast.
To get to Fresno, we took the San Joaquin train north from Bakersfield. Our trips from the Fresno train station to FAT were by taxi.

OK -- that's great . . . 100% keep the Cedar Lodge booking and cancel the one in Mariposa.
Allegiant isn't a practical option really. It would be very expensive for your family plus it doesn't fly every day . . . and Amtrak doesn't work from Vegas
The only practical option is the long boring drive around through Bakersfield and up the Central Valley (but as was mentioned several times on your various threads - most years Tioga Pass is open by early June). You could drive up 395 all the way to Lake Tahoe and then south to Yosemite via Hwy 49 or through Sacramento/Stockton/Merced. That is a much more scenic route but is a MUCH longer drive.
