Thanks SoBe!
I know that there are other options. I just wish that the 2 party system wasn't so dominating! More plurality, less duality!! I wish that I didn't feel that my vote was being "wasted" on a non dem/repub candidate. I know, I know, it's not wasting, it's making a statement against the Kerry's & Bush' of the world. Still disheartening.
OK OK OK enough politics. Sorry!!!

Go Travel,
Very open-ended. Frasier was supposedly moving to SF to take over a radio show there, but ended up with him landing in Chicago, presumably to try to make things work with Charlotte.
Episode was good, not great. I though they tried to do too much and it got disjointed. Loved that show, though.

Rave Frazier is wasted in Chicago, when he could be teamed up with Niles to run Rocco's kitchen. Of course Seinfeld to handle the front of the house. Then Rocco would have time for therapy, and mom could get some rest from the meatballs.
Rant the suits have no pizzazz!

jette, NEITHER or any reason for that matter is acceptable. I'm truly disgusted, but not much you can do. Makes me feel better that I didn't go into the military when I was contemplating it a few years ago.
On the other Rave side, Rupert got the other million on Survivor. It wasn't a surprise, but I was surprised Boston Rob made the final four.
Another Rave: Finally made it to a Yankee game this week despite all the rain we've had.
Rant: It was the game where we lost 11-2 and Posada got hit in the nose.

Hi TxTravelPro--that's what we flew around on our way home to San Antonio--the clouds were beautiful, and a welcome sight, once we were airborne. I don't mind waiting at the airport but being inside a parked plane away from the terminal gave me the heebie jeebies--again, it could have been worse! Hope you enjoy a nice weekend

rjw - Great news and congrats!
mms - Many thanks to your DH for his service
TxTravelPro - Many thanks and godspeed to your son, my prayers are with your family for his safe return!
Rave: Nephew comes home Monday from Ft. Hood after serving in Iraq - big party next Saturday welcoming him home!
Rave: 26 hour trip to Richmond tomorrow for Nextel Cup night race, crossing my fingers it doesn't rain
Rave: Booked long weekend to Niagara Falls in July for son's hockey tournament
Rave: Freedom & our awesome military folks willing to fight for us to keep it!
Rants: Nothing to complain about

Rant-Those who use this thread to hop on their political soapbox. Enough already!
Rave-rj's sister getting better!
Rant-The end of Frasier.
Rave-Despite the bad in the world, there is still good out there. My six year old dd thanked God last night for creating such a wonderful world. Too bad adults lose sight of that and dwell on the negative....

Ditto about everyone being adult with stating their opinions
Sam--Tell your nephew thanks!
rave--dd's 13th bday party is tonight. We did a gag gift for her though, heehee! She likes to hike with us but won't admit it to her new friends...so we put her real gift inside a backpack and wrapped up the pack to look like that is her gift. She is a good sport though...so hopefully that will continue!

Rant: I just found a dead cicada on my keyboard (placed there by my 13 yr old son, haha very funny, trying to gross me out). The cicadas are here and the decibels will be supposedly as loud as a jackhammer this weekend. This is my first time witnessing this every-17-year phenomena, and it is kind of bizarre.
