Can anyone suggest a hotel that runs deals on weekends in NYC? Some of the deals out there, don't appear to be great deals. Any suggestions.....

The Roosevelt Hotel has been offering good deals lately.

scroll down the postings a bit and u may find a posting for discounts for a special promo for the marriott marquis. there was a promo number to use to get a discount for certain times. i believe regular room rate is over $300.00, we got a room for 189.00
using the promo, this was back in late may early june possibly.

The Millenium UN Plaza for $149 a night on the week-ends.

Last weekend I stayed at On the Ave, on the upper west side, for $125 a night. I was pleasantly suprised at how nice the hotel was. Even though there was a review that said the rooms were nice but small, I thought they were plenty spacious.

I would try PriceLine or Hotwire. Also, rates are generally cheaper on the weekends, ESPECIALLY downtown by the financial district.
