Weather in Philly?

Been hearing about flooding around Philly and are wondering what to expect this weekend. We are flying in on Sunday and will be there for 3 days. Let's hear from the locals!

Well, the rain has stopped. Where are you staying? Center City will be fine. The River Drives are still closed, so I don't think you'll be walking along Boat House Row and the River Drives this weekend. By Sunday all the roads should be open and passable., In fact, by tomorrow or later today they should be open.
Where are you staying? It would help us determine how things will be around you.

We are booked at the Residence Inn by the convention center. Are there any flooding problems there? The news just said most of PA needs "disaster relief from the waters. We can still cancel if there is a real problem.

Well we finally got some real rain in Philly last night. At about 4 in the morning the rains went crazy and little rivers were coming down my street (about 5 min. outside center city). This morning the streets were totally dry and it's sunny and warm. Went walking on West River Drive past boat house row yesterday and had no issues. Saw that Kelly Drive was open too. Did walk through the park across from West River Drive (forget the name)which had some flooding and was partially closed, but most people don't walk over there anyway. As long as the weather stays the same, you should be fine going to most of the main areas. Have fun!

YOu will be fine. Water is receeding and clean up has begun. There was no problem at all around the area where you will be staying or around any of the historic areas.

Agree. You'll be fine. Everything should be close to normal and look's like good weather.
