Warwick Hotel

My husband and i are going into the city for a three day weekend and have made reservations at the Warwick Hotel. I have heard it is renovated. Has anyone stayed there and what is it like. Are the rooms big??

We were very happy with the Warwick in New York during a five-day stay in September. Great location, small but adequate room, intimate lobby.

The Warwick hotel in New York City. How are the rooms as far as cleanliness and are they old fashion or decorated nicely?

Very clean, a little old-fashioned.

When are you going? I will be there on June 22. If you go before then I would be interested in your thoughts. My travel agent highly recommends it. Great location, reasonable price and clean.

We will be at the Warwick before June 22nd. I heard they remodeled the rooms so I am not sure if they are still old fashioned. We got a Junior Suite and it is very reasonable.

When we made reservations last year, it's "old fashioned" aspect is why we selected it. When we got there the lobby was small but beautiful. There is a book of stars etc. that have stayed there in the past to the right of the check-in desk.Due to a mix-up we had to stay at a boutique hotel across the street. They were very helpful and professional in helping us find accomodations. I wish we could of stayed there. Please to a travel report so I can find out what it was like!

Gail what kind of mix up. I hope this does not happen to us. I have checked our reservations twice and all is confirmed. It is my birthday so I am looking forward to staying there. I have heard some horrow stories about people getting to their hotels to check in and there are not reservarions. I will do a trip report for you. My husband is a beetles fan and they staryed there the first time they were in New York.

Oh..One that you don't have to worry about..My husband reserved the wrong night! Our fabulous rate turned into a $300.+ rate across the street. Our hotel was kind of interesting though. A trendy place that I never would have selected on my own.As I said though Warwick was very helful and did their best to help us out. I have got to admit we were a bit panicked (flash-back to the Out of Towners!).It was a travel adventure.

We stayed at the NYC Warwick in December on the recommendation of a friend. It was lovely. Our room was very large & totally renovated. The bathroom in particular was gorgeous. I'm sure all hotels have a variety of rooms & maybe we were just lucky. We loved the location; we walked everywhere. Nice little restaurant/bar called Connelly's(sp?) right across the street for a quick lunch. Say hello to Mooney, the bellman at the Warwick...nice guy.
