Walt Disney World
We'll be travelling to Walt Disney World in December and even though we have been there several times we have not been there since Animal Kingdon opened. Can anyone tell me which day is early opeing for WDW Hotel guests? Also, is there any order for seeing the "sites" in Animal Kingdom. Any assistance you can give is welcome. Thanks.

You'll probably want to do the safari in Animal Kingdom early in the morning - I've heard that's when most of the animals are visible. Be prepared for big crowds, since this park is new. We found the Animal Kingdom largely a disappointment, and left midday to go back to the Magic Kingdom!

Check out the unofficial web site for Disney information.
www.disneyinfo.com
They have some of the most informative bulletin boards I have found.

My husband and I were at Animal Kingdom in April for its sneak preview and enjoyed it immensely. We went on the safari in both the morning and afternoon, and found most of the animals to be out both times. Countdown to Extinction is very popular, so you may want to do that ride early on. Asia is scheduled to open in January (except for the rapids ride), but I heard that there is the possibility of it opening in December, so you may be in luck. It will be crowded at AK; the pathways are narrow. Email me if you have any more questions.

I e-mailed Disney through their website and they answered me back that MK is open early on Mon, Thurs, and Sat. Epcot Tues, and Fri. MGM on Sun. and Wed. They said that the Animal Kingdom is not participating in their surprise mornings as that park opens earlier than their other theme parks. I am taking the cruise and park package next week, I hope the weather co-operates. I've only been to Disney a few times, but if I can be of assistance you can e-mail me.
