viewing Grand Canyon from helicopter

Has anyone had a great experience with this?
The cost is about $299 pp and I am wondering if it is worth it.

My husband and I did this 2 years ago. It was fantastic. I think it would be worth it at twice the price.

I second AirStar. We visited GC a few years ago, and my husband really wanted to do a airplane tour. Though, not a great flyer (especially in small planes), I went along and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was great and I still have our photo they gave us in our living room.

If you are staying for a few days, plan on doing this early. For us, we arrived at the airport on our scheduled day but it was too windy to fly. We were lucky that we were staying so it was re-schedule for the next day. Keep in mind, this was an airplane tour; I don't know how a helicopter ride would be.

I would highly recommend a helicopter ride to view the Grand Canyon. Not sure who we used (stayed at the Bellagio and they picked us up there). Well worth every penny. We actually touched down in the canyon and had snacks and drinks and walked around. So beautiful!!

I took the airstar helicopter tour.the middle priced one....also the more expensive is good too...the cheaper is too short..like sitting in your living room...and I`m afraid of heights....
