Vietnamese sesame crepes from Trader Joe's?

Hi Guys,

When I TRAVEL to visit my Mom, I would love to take some yummy sesame crepes from Trader Joe's (sweet, sort of like a thin fruit-roll up, but tastes like honey and coated with sesasme seeds.) Has anybody eaten this, know of a brand name, or could point me to a place online to purchase? I've googled and searched extensively but can't find anything!

Sorry for the random question that is barely related to travel, but I know this is bunch has a well-traveled pallet/tongue!

Thanks!!

I just called the Trader Joe's in our area because I am hungry and those sound really good! Anyway when I asked if they had them, she said "NO and we are very sad about it". She said they discontinued them last summer because (she thought) they were having trouble with the supplier and doesn't know anywhere else you can get them.

Thanks for the info, maj. Big bummer. I guess if it's a supplier problem it'll be tough to source them anywhere!

Where do you live? They sell those crepes here in Honolulu. So I assume you can get those things in an Asian market.

If you're in Mass., I wonder if Super 88's (the Asian supermarket) carries them. You have my stomach intrigued, so if you find them, do tell.

Super 88 is worth a TRIP from anywhere - it is incredible, especially the live eels and fish - I have never bought one, but wonder if they chop the head off or if you take it home live.
