Vegas-Where to eat?
We will be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. You guys helped us chose our hotel and I'm hoping you have good suggestions for places to eat.
We will be in Vegas for two nights. Arriving on Monday January 21, leaving Wednesday January 23. This is our first trip to Vegas.
Monday night, we have tickets to the 10pm Beatles LOVE show (seats-1st row of balcony).
I was thinking that on the day we arrive, eat lunch at Mesa Grill. We will probably eat one heavy meal a day. I'm thinking our heavy meal Monday will be at lunch.
Where would be a good spot for dinner? Close to the Mirage since the Love show will be there? Maybe somewhere where we could either split an entrée or just order appetizers and drinks.
Any recommendations for lunch on Tuesday? Probably something light, as our heavy meal will be that night. We have no plans for Tuesday, other than checking out the sights. Any "must see" destinations that would be near a good lunch spot?
Tuesday night I'd like to go somewhere romantic - with a view preferably. I would like to keep this meal around $200 dollars. A nice steak or possibly seafood. We're staying at The Wynn if that makes a difference.
We'd also like to check out some of the bars. Any suggestions? We love to people watch and like I mentioned earlier this is first time in Vegas. We're not really gamblers so I'm envisioning doing a lot of walking, checking out the different hotels and free shows; stopping for refreshments along the way.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Japonais at the Mirage might be a good place for dinner. Check out their menu on line--can also make reservations this way. They have sushi and other small plates, so you can eat just a little. That's where we ate before going to Love.

The great thing about Vegas is - it really doesn't matter where you're staying..... For a beautiful view - the Voodoo Cafe and Lounge at the Rio. I also love the Palm Restaurant in the Forum Shops - and for lunches or dinners, there are amazing options in the Forum Shops (Mirage at one end - Caesars at the other). I love anything associated with Wolfgang Puck (and there are a couple there) - but there are many, many options there.... Congratulations!!!!! For things to do, here's a link for free things in Las Vegas: http://www.vegas-tips-and-trips.com/...tractions.html, and Red Rock Canyon is pretty....

For a romantic dinner with a view, I recommended the Eiffel Tower restaurant at the Paris, or Mix at Mandalay Bay. You could possibly get out of there for under $200, depending how many courses and wine you choose. If you can't have dinner at the Eiffel Tower, you should at least have a drink in their lounge (which is free admission, as opposed to going to top of tower). Have a wonderful trip!
