Vegas trip report...brief
Just got back from a 4 day trip to Sin City. This was about my 8th time in the last 7 years or so.
Stayed at Ballys and enjoyed it as we have before. Ate at the Steakhouse there and loved it. The service was fantastic! went to Fab Four at Aladdin on 2 for 1 tickets and had a ball. Amazing show for the price.
I love gambling but I am not a big dollar player. Spent lots of time on poker and blackjack. Actually came out ahead when all was said and done. Did some sports book action as well...to no avail. Messed around with Let it ride and a new Hold Em table game as well.
Visited the Wynn for the first time. A bit too polished for me but obviously very nice. Found a new BJ variation at Casino Royal that was a lot of fun. Weather was great, high 70's and plenty of sun.
Ended up in a Poker tournament with celebrities. There is a reality show being taped of the tourney as we normal folks played with the celeb of the moment.....Yep Rob and Amber in person! The fun was the spectacle even if it was ia bit distracting!
Saw the big dude from Orange County Choppers at the airport on the way home. Looking forward to the next time!
More details available for those who care.

usually, people keep the BJ variation info. to a minimum, so as not cause envy for those unable to play, but thanks for sharing..
Seems that Paul Sr. gets around a lot, he had dinner in the Bellagio which someone posted about.. sounds like a good guy
..was he wearing the muscle shirt

Yep, I didn't claim they were "A" or even "B" list celebrities!
The new BJ game is switchem....you play 2 hands and can reverse the 2nd cards from each hand to improve your hands. There is resplitting and doubling. You can even switch into a blackjack. The catch is that BJ pays 1-1 and 22 for the dealer is a push for the players who have not busted. The game is dealt from a continuous shuffler.
It was fun and profitable for me. I only played for about an hour.
