Vegas Monorail question

I'm off to Vegas this weekend, and will most probably be taking a few rides on the Monorail.

I know there are sometimes special discounts available for the monorails. Where can I find these discounted specials for the monorail?

Thanks!

Here's their website: www.lvmonorail.com I should imagine any specials/discounts would be listed here.

We have used it on past trips and it is helpful between certain stops.

There are often Monorail discount coupons in the coupon books that are on display at/near the station, also in Hotel rooms....beware though that the monorail is not super convenient for touring the strip (it is only on one side, and you have to walk through the hotels and casinos where it stops, quite a way...it's not a bad option if the places you are looking to go are on the route...

There is a 24-hr ticket, if you buy it at noon, it will be valid till the next noon, so time your purchase appropriately.

For coupons, check if there is a booklet stand close to the check-in area.

Ok. Thanks. I know the monorail is not the best form of transportation. Usually, when I'm there, I've got a rental car and drive off into the sunset to hike and explore. But I figured it was time I explore the insides of the theme hotels (Circus Circus - we want to play some video games and eat hot dogs one afternoon), and the long walks to the monorails will have to suffice for my usual hikes (I imagine my usual desert hikes will cause a few headlines as the idiot who died hiking 100+ temperature).

I hope the discounts I was able to find on the lv monorail site will be available in Vegas as well?

I've been back now from Vegas for a few weeks now, and I must say, there were no discounts for monorail passes in August. If you want discounts for monorail passes, it's best to purchase them online at lvmonorail.com.

The monorail is expensive from what I remember. There is a bus that goes up and down the strip. It is $5 per day and you can hop on and off.
