VEGAS HOTEL DEALS
I'm looking for a good deal on a hotel for my first trip to Vegas. So far, I have found: Flamingo at $55, Treasure Island at $64, Barbary Coast at $59 and Bally's at $69 ("Double Deal" which includes 2 for 1 tickets to "Jubilee", 2 for 1 cocktails at two lounges and discounts of $10 to $20 at their restaurants and buffet). Any comment's on which of these would be the best deal? Thanks.

Treasure Island is the best of those hotels.
Jubilee and drinks at a Bally's lounge aren't enough of an enticement for me since I wouldn't enjoy that show or sit in their lounge.
Barbary...not my style, bad casino, hole in the wall.
Flamingo has quite a few proponents but the hotel's not as nice as TI.
Be sure to check the hotel websites too, and Orbitz.com, and call the 800 numbers for the hotel you choose to be sure you get the best deal possible.

I would only book a BACK-UP hotel at this point (one that is fully refundable if you cancel beforehand) as it is probably too early for Vegas to be promoting rooms in April.
However, from your list, they'd all be fine choices, except the Barbary Coast which doesn't have a pool.
Flamingo has the nicest pool and best location, while TI is the newest of the ones you've chosen. I'd probably be partial to the Flamingo from the list you chose. (Unless you are late 20's/early 30's, at which point i'd maybe choose TI).

http://off2vegas.com posts the ads from the LA Times Sunday paper each week on the site, not all of these deals are great but I have found that if you keep looking you will find some VERY GOOD deals amongst them. Lots of other good info there as well.
