Vegas....Hip, Cool, fun?
Hello
I am visiting Vegas on June 14th for the weekend with two other guys. We are all 30 yrs of age and love to dine out and "go out" to COOL places. We are looking for atmosphere and fun. We are staying at Mandalay Bay and have reservations at Nobu. Any other suggestions for dining anf bars. Thanks so much......Remember hip, cool, and fun.

We stayed at the Mandalay Bay last November and it was wonderful! The spa is beautiful and we also enjoyed Red Square. The restaurant across from Red Square was excellent also (can't remember the name).
If you want to see a great show go to "O". It was incredible. Also enjoyed coffee and pastry at a little coffee shop on the lower level of New York New York hotel. Have a great time!

Hi Andy,
Just got back from Vegas four days ago and I just wanted to say that you will be very happy with your choice of hotel. We stayed at the Bellagio and it was also great but we thought that Mandalay Bay was also very nice. The pool is great and you have the House of Blues in the hotel, check out their website to see who is palying the dates you are there. I am 32 but my husband and I like more the jazzy places and shows and eating than anything too crazy so I will suggest restaurants. Our first night we ate at Star Canyon in the Venetia, we sat in front of Robin Leach and some tall leggy blonde. The food was great, Southwestern, I had the BEST soup, smoked mushroom chowder with bits of bacon and cream on top. It was a great meal. The second night we ate at Circo (not Le Cirque) at the Bellagio and it was OK. The third night we ate at Emeril's and it was good, better than Circo but just good. Then our last night we ate at Picasso's at the Bellagio it costs us $350 but we had a great meal. Keep in mind that this palce only has taste menu for $79 or digustation menu for $89 plus a bottle of wine and tip. It was our 10th anniv so we splurged (bigtime I guess) and it was well worth it.
We saw O and it definitly was worth the money. what a great show! We also saw Danny Gants and he was hilarious. The closer u sit the better at Danny GAnts.
To be honest, IN MY OPINION, don't waste your time with the Luxor, Excalibur or MGM hotels unless you are going to a restaurant. We didn't visit those small hotels like Barbary Coast or I forgot the rest of their names.
So I can't tell u about them.
We had lunch at Postrio in Venetia and was great this a Wolfgang Puck's place.
We really were never hungry enough to do a buffet so I can't recommend one.
Have fun if u have questions post again!
Book your shows and dinners as early as possible, if you are not sure where to eat just make reservations at a bunch of them and decide when you are there.
