VEGAS - BEST VIEW for July 4th FIREWORKS?
If you've been to vegas for July 4th, where's the best view? Approximately when do the fireworks start - I heard that it starts at around 9pm. Thanks in advance?

Jellybelly, it's hard to tell from your original post if you are talking about fireworks on the strip. Typically, there are no fireworks on the strip for July 4th, although one year I think the Stratosphere may have had some.
If you are interested in attending one of the local fireworks shows, there will be one at Hills Park in the Summerlin (northwest valley) area with a live orchestra. It seems that in the past they have also had a show at Sam Boyd Stadium, which is located in the far southeast valley.
As far as the view, I don't think either of these shows will be easily viewable from any of the main tourist areas.
You might want to check the local newspaper for more details. Try www.reviewjournal.com.
Hope this helps.

Had a great time in Vegas. We saw some fireworks on the strip on July 3rd but didn't see any on July 4th (but we were at dinner til 9pm so maybe we missed them?). Thanks everyone for writing!
