Utah--where to ski, stay & play???

We're planning a ski vacation over the Thanksgiving holiday. Any suggestions will be appreciated. There will be 2 adults & 2 college-age students. Ski abilities range from beginner to advanced. Thank you.

Park City is the place to go! You can get great rates a Park Station Condominium Hotel-$150 night for two bedrooms and two baths. It is right next to mainstreet and the mainstreet lift, so you can ski in and out. If you tell them you have an
encore card they will give you the room (condo) for half price. Sking is great and if the weather hasn't cooperated and put down new snow, Park City has some of the world's best snowmaking equipment.
Lift prices aren't cheap $50?? but it is considered a world class resort. If you have the big bucks check out Deer Valley and the Stein Erickson resort. Hope you have a great trip!!!

What is an encore card, and where can you use it?
Sounds like a good deal if not too expensive.

Also curious about Encore card. I have used the "Entertainment '97" (or current year) coupon book for some spectacular 1/2 price deals in Colorado & Nevada. Most major metro areas have these but, the hotel deals are nation wide. The discounts are usually limited to off-season (up to Christmas.)

We were there a few years ago and stayed in Sandy Utah. We were looking for inexpensive accomidations and stayed at the Comfort Inn. The rooms were clean and it was just a short drive up to the ski resorts, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton. We went over to Deer Valley one day and it was very pricey.
