United Mobile SIM question, please

Trying to purchase United Mobile International
SIM on their website. Two places ask for inf
that I don't have a clue to what they are
referring. Must be filled in to accept my
request. I emailed customer service but have
not heard yet. One is ID Type: Pass or ID????
and I.D.#. I am sure I will feel more stupid
when I find out what I am to enter. Thanks
for your help.

They are asking your for passport # or identification card #.

I'm assuming you are from the US, where there is no such thing as a national ID card.

J62 you are speedy and helpful. I don't
particularly like giving out my passport
number, etc. but guess I have no choice.
Thanks so much and I do feel more
stupid. : )

I have been using UM SIM card for about a 1.5 years and gave them mine passport number. Never had any problems.

Their e-mail CS is somewhat slow, but the SIM works great. In fact they just upgraded my SIM card from Lichtenstein number to UK number (read: cheaper) for free and gave me a 10EUR credit with the new card.
