You are welcome, IMDonehere.

I personally think that once these alternative types of lodging/transportation are forced to meet the same type of requirements and protections as more traditional options for the good of the general public, there will be very little difference in pricing (if any) between the two. I wonder how many will be defending them then.

Many people balk at regulation until they need it. One of my favorite short stories is by a, now rarely read, writer named Delmore Schwartz entitled, "In Dreams Begin Responsibility." And although he was referring to personal relationships, it certainly can be applied to electronic ones as well.

IMD, please stop pretending you are trying to have a discussion. You are no better than a troll, and I will not stop reporting you as such until the editors here take action.

"This is seriously aggravating"

Sorry you get so easily aggravated, Newbe...but if the AttorneyS General are asking questions, I think it's okay for fodorites to have questions, too.

I have not followed this post too closely. Frankly, I don't give a fat damn about Uber, Yellow Cab, Amtrak, AirBnB, the man in the moon, or most Fodorites...too many threads sound like kindergarten recess time.

But I came across this article which I thought I would share, that is if you haven't read it today.
