We stayed at the River Inn when we went up to see Hamilton this summer. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and many had kitchenettes. We had the pre theater dinner there and were pleased with the food and the service. I would return to the hotel and the restaurant.

It seemed to me that the line for the taxis was endless. I was very happy to have a short walk back to my hotel. If I were arranging a lyft or uber, I’d walk a few blocks to get away from the mess around the theater.

Hillwood is one of my favorite places to visit in DC.

Two more restaurants that might be near your hotel: Brasserie Beck and Arroz.

I don't know whether you are familiar with the Millenium Stage at the Kennedy Center, but you might check out the offering for the evening you will be there
