TV show tapings in NY

We're going to be in NY for a couple days in October and would like to see a show taping (Regis, Letterman, View...) but we're having trouble getting tickets this late. Any suggestions on brokers or other means of getting tickets? Thanks.

We did the Conan O'Brian show and loved it! Call NBC if you're interested and reserve your tickets.

I was in NYC in late July. My father had sent a request for Letterman tickets back in March and had no reply. I sent an email to their office via the web site for last minute tickets. I received a call the Thursday before we left (a Sat). The audience coordinator had two tickets for me for the Monday or Tuesday show and all I had to do was answer a VERY easy trivia question. When we were in NYC, there were audience coordinators around Times Sq. looking for audience members as well. The bottom line, it was pretty easy to get tickets. After the show, we hung out by the side exit and got to meet the guest, Kristin Davis and members of the band and Alan, the announcer who was beyond sweet.Good luck!

You didn't mention where you are staying, but if you are staying in a local hotel in the city, the concierge will be able to help with this. The best thing to do is contact the hotel now, let them know what dates you'll be in the city, and ask them to help. I just did that this summer, and the hotel called me back to let me know they were able to get us VIP tickets for Regis and Kelly.

Staci, I have shared this "tip" with others...hope you have good luck as well. We have lucked into Letterman tickets twice by going to the Ed Sullivan Theater at noon on the day the show tapes. They are passing out line numbers for the guests who have tickets and also give out a few passes. They are very nice. Usually there are interns, staff assistants, etc. doing this. We are big fans and always have been able as previously stated by others....to answer an easy trivia question. Good Luck...one other thing to keep in mind...I think they tape two shows on Thursday. So you have two chances. It is great fun!
