Tuscan Airport
Hello everyone,
Would you mind giving me a little info on the Tuscan area. I've been researching flight info (flying in from NY area) and noticed there are no direct flights into TUS. Is this a relatively small airport? How far (driving distance) is Phoenix-SKY from Tuscan...looking at maps it looks like a few hours? Any help would be FANTASTIC! Hope you all are enjoying the summer! kindest regards, Barb

Barb- you might want to repost under "Tucson" as the "Tuscan" area is in northern Italy.
To answer your question, it is a fairly smally airport and most people end up connecting through Denver (on United)or SLC (Delta) or take the drive from PHX. It is only 2-2.5 hours to the Tucson airport from Sky Harbor. If you have a non-stop to Phoenix, I would suggest just renting there and driving rather than taking the short connection and risk missing it anyhow.

If you're from NY, and the drive is a concern, this might help.
The drive from Tsn to Phx is pretty easy. Straight interstate hghwy. Plus the Phx airport is southeast of the city so, coming from Tsn, you don't have to drive thru or around Phx to get to the airport.
