Turtle Bay Resort, Oahu, Snorkeling - Need Recs!

My husband and I are planning a 4-5 day getaway in the beginning of September. I'm pregnant now and am really looking to say somewhere where I can snorkel, lounge on the beach (preferably in a lounger), and eat. We won't be doing any major hikes on this trip. We just want to take it easy and enjoy being treated in a lovely setting.

Does Turtle Bay Resort seem like a good place for this? Is the snorkeling good, the beach set up for guests? Are are there other places to stay that would be better?

Kuilima Cove at Turtle Bay Resort is nice for snorkeling and is good year round.

Shark's Cove (Pupukea) is also good for snorkeling. September will still be good. It gets too rough in the winter. It is only a few miles from Turtle Bay.

Laniakea Beach, not the best for snorkeling or swimming, is also close. Best thing about this is lots of sea turtles there. Also called Turtle Beach in some brochures/books.

Hauanma Bay is always good for snorkeling.

Lots of things to do on oahu:

Thanks, Dusty! What an amazing to-do list! Are you a fan of the Turtle Bay Resort?

We stayed at the Turtle Bay condos last September and loved the area. We saw turtles every day, and even swam near some in the cove. This is a very nice place to get away from it all. I would highly recommend Lei Lei's restaurant at the golf club, and making a short trip to Haleiwa for shaved ice.

Are the Turtle Bay condos right on Turtle Bay Resort property?

Yes. I booked ours thru vrbo.com, but I could have also booked thru Turtle Bay Estates. The condos are set back from the water (ours had a distant water view) and are surrounded by the two golf courses.
