Trying to decide between these four FLL resturants...
Sloppy Joe's....Old Florida Seafood house....Catfish Dewey's.....or Shirtail Charlies....no need a white table cloth dining event...just good seafood-no chains...prefer places only the locals know...thanks

old florida seafoood house is very pricey and in a shopping center (stripmall) ....the food is excellent if you can get past that! Try Southport Raw Bar(off 17 th st) if you really want typical florida native food, server dockside, or Bimini Boatyard if you want touristy food.

Le Tub in Hollywood would be a very 'local' place. It is right on the intercoastal waterway. Far removed from the 'white tablecloth' sort of place. VERY informal - but yummy. It has some seafood (as I recall - it has been a few years). The food is great. The atmosphere is great. It was one of my favorite places to go when I lived in Florida. Most certainly NOT a typical tourist destination.
