Trouble finding dog friendly hotels in Naples....

We are having so much trouble finding an upscale hotel in Naples that will accept our small dog too. Any suggestions?? The Wellsley Inn and The double tree do, but they are upscale or that close to 5th ave. Any advice? We must take our dog with us.

AAA Guidebooks include a symbol showing which motels and hotels are pet friendly.

I have a book from AAA called Traveling with your Pet. It is a few years old, but under Naples, FL they list: Baymont Inn & Suites, Hawthorn Suites, Naples Hotel & Suites,Residence Inn by Marriott, Staybridge Suites Hotel by Holiday Inn and Wellesley Inn & Suites. I hope that helps you.

Can you not just call the hotel and ask?

Not a lot of upscale options.
If you will be there for several days, you may want to consider vrbo.com.

Stay the Ritz Golf Resort. It's not by the beach or 5th avenue but from your past postings it sounds like you want a high end hotel as first choice anyway.

Or, you could leave the dog at home. In that case I would reccomend the Ritz on the Beach.

It seems you have to choose between the dog or the upscale.
