Hi Daniel,
We have not stayed at Rio Suites, but did win a few $ on the slots there in Jan/97. Although it is not located on the strip I'm sure you would have a view of the strip if you get a room high enough. I would definitely like to stay there next time we go it is a beautiful facility. As for entertainment, don't miss Danny Gans "the ultimate entertainer" he puts on a fantastic show. He performs at the Rio Suites. You can check out the showtimes, nights and prices for this and other shows at www.lvol.com/ and click on the Las Vegas Show Guide. There is also lots of other Vegas and area info at that site. Have a great time and I hope you win! Val

Rio has the best seafood buffet in Vegas .Suggest going for lunch.Shorter lines ,same food. The SportsBook area is one of the nicest in LV.Most locals also told us that Danny Gans was a must see but he was sold out during our stay.

IMO. the show to see is Myst're at treasure Island.
It is awsome!!. Next in line would be Sig and Roy,
at the Mirage. If you like magic, Tim Burton is great
also. The dinner show at Excalibur is worth the $$.
But if you only have time for One show. You cant go
wrong with Myst're.
Hope this helps

We stayed at the Rio last May. The expanded living room as well as sleeping area was luxurious. I reccomend you visit www.playrio.com for details and photos. We have enjoyed many shows on various trips. Whatever you consider to be entertainment will be available to you. Memorable shows were Sigfried and Roy, Jubilee, Enter the Night, Legends,
The shows at the MGM Grand EFX, the Luxor and Tropicana did not live upto my expectations of super Las Vegas entertainment.
